Stoppen met shoppen

A few weeks ago I came across this article that mentioned a new initiative for women who spend too much on unnecessary clothes.
Don't quite see myself as a BIG spender or impulsive shopper, but it does happen every now and then, that I spend money on something I just want to have, but don't really need...So I decided to become a member of "stoppenmetshoppen" in my own way.


The plan: Start this initiative 1st of May, and NOT head into the city for some unnecessary shopping


I do know I love shopping occasionally, so I gave myself some small exceptions:
- undies and stockings/socks are allowed!! Can't miss in case I need some more basics.
- free gifts and swapping situations
- other countries I'll visit will be a free field. But no reckless buys.


Let's wait and see if i'll succeed...

My last year of twenty-somethingness*

Last week was my birthday...My last birthday as a twenty-something girl imagine.. Time flies!!! The day was beautiful and and the most amazing first sunny day of the year, especially for me I guess*


During the weekend I had a home party with a crowded house filled with my friends. It totally was such a cool evening/night! Received quite a few amazing gifts, like this portret.

Marni at H&M

Can't begin to describe how much I loved the Marni for H&M collaboration from the moment I saw the preview and commercial. The 8th of March, the first day the collection was in store, I waited in line to be one of the first to have my favourite choice. THE DRESS 

Eventually I chose the dot dress and the white collar which I totally loved and still do..

This weekend I wore the dress for a birthday party and it was a total success. Post of this will follow soon*

The Start of Something New*

You dear followers may have noticed a silent period in my blog the last months or should I even say year? But times are changing: A New Year has started, with new goals and dreams, a New Fresh Air in my life and My Blog of course..

From now on, I'll be giving a monthly summary, referring to The Past, The Present & The Future. It will be about everything that is happening, has happened or will happen, in my life and around me, worth mentioning..*

Next to that I'll be posting a weekly interest. Something really interesting that caught my eye which I want to share with you..

The Past: Release*
A lot has happened in 2010.. Unfortunately the last weeks of 2010 and the first of 2011 didn't turn out so well for me. But that's why we all have good intentions, and these are the moments to make them.. My focus is on the present and the future! 


The Present: Today is a Time Bomb*
To be honest I didn't expect to be standing in life and it's happenings the way I do right now, but I still have a sense of humor so...

... I'm sure there is no site more suitable to show the current time as Bijint It changes every minute showing an asian girl with the exact timing, excellent isn't it!! It's one of my favourites* 


The Future: Good Intentions*

The #1 Intention definately is, accepting negative thoughts and releasing them now and for always.. (believe me for someone who thinks to much, it's the RIGHT intention) 

#2 always seem accidentally good looking (even though we all know it took effort, you never know who you might run into at the groceries, on the way from work, during that run at the park.. so always make sure you look like your stunning self, at least I know I will*)

#3 finally take true steps to start my creative business and chase my goals. Put the dots on the I and get a grip of my life.

#4 last but not least, be open for new people.. "The Right kind of people" and more specific, The Right Guy..

Like the Book says: It's never too late, to be who you want to be!!
